Most clinics split that across three appointments and three bills. We do it in one, and we tell you the price before you walk in.

What the $45 actually covers
Your first visit
in one appointment
- A consultation with Dr. Tyler included Where it hurts, how long, what you have already tried.
- A thorough examination included Orthopedic and neurological testing, range of motion, how your spine actually moves.

A standard adult adjustment here is $45 — the same price as the whole first visit. So the consultation, the examination and the x-rays cost you nothing.
Your care plan comes at visit two, once Dr. Tyler has your exam and x-rays in front of him — what he found, the plan, and what it costs.

What happens when you come in
About forty-five minutes, start to finish. Here is the whole thing, in order.
- First
You talk, Dr. Tyler listens
Where it hurts, how long it has been going on, what makes it worse, what you have already tried. If you have been told something about your back before, tell us that too.
- Then
A thorough examination
Orthopedic and neurological testing, range of motion, and how your spine is actually moving. This is the part that finds the cause rather than the symptom.
- If needed
X-rays, taken here
Not everybody needs them. If your exam says we should look, we take them in the clinic — no second appointment, no referral, no extra charge on this visit.
- Same visit
Your first adjustment
If it is appropriate for what we found, you get treated the same day. Most people do. You will not be asked to come back another time to start.
- Visit two
Your care plan, laid out properly
Once your exam and x-rays are in front of him, Dr. Tyler walks you through exactly what he found and the course he recommends — typically 24 visits to start, ending with a re-exam and fresh x-rays so you can see what changed on film, not just feel it. If chiropractic is not the right answer for you, he will say so.

The questions we get asked
Is it really $45 for all of that?
Yes — consultation, examination, any x-rays you need and one complete treatment, for $45. There is no upsell at the end and no package you have to buy to get the price. After the first visit, adjustments are $45 for adults and $25 for children twelve and under — and if you would rather prepay, blocks of 12 or 24 visits save 15%.
What happens after the first visit?
Your second visit is the care plan. Dr. Tyler reviews your exam and x-rays with you and lays out the course he recommends — his typical starting plan is 24 visits, and it ends with a re-exam and fresh x-rays to measure what changed. You pay per visit, or prepay a block of 12 or 24 for 15% off. Your plan depends on what the exam finds, not on a template.
Do I need a referral?
No. In Minnesota you can see a chiropractor directly — you do not need a doctor to send you.
How long should I set aside?
Plan on about 45 minutes for the first visit. Regular adjustments after that are much quicker.
What if I have never been adjusted before?
Most of our new patients have not. Dr. Tyler will explain what he is going to do before he does it, and he adjusts gently. If you would rather he stopped at any point, say so — that is always fine.
Will you take my insurance?
We choose not to accept health insurance. That keeps our prices fair and gives us more time with every patient. FSA and HSA cards are accepted. Our care may be covered by your provider as out-of-network medical care. Our front desk can give you a super-bill to submit for reimbursement.
Can I bring my child?
Yes. Dr. Tyler treats infants and children, and adjustments for ages 0–12 are $25. There is a separate new patient form for children, linked below.
What should I wear?
Something you can move in. Nothing special — just avoid a stiff belt or a tight skirt if you can.
